“ A New Beginning”, in Rimini, Italy from June 1st to 3rd stands testimony to how a group of happy individuals naturally go about sharing happiness with people around them. The seminar was led by the senior faculty member of One World academy, Ananda Giri ji, supported by Faculty members Yuktesh and Venkatesh. Holiday Inn, Rimini the venue for this event is a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Adriatic Coast and served as an ideal setting for this inward journey.

On the 4th October 2011, OWA Senior Faculty Ananda Giri was invited to Schloss Neubeuren, a very reknowned & elite residential school in South Germany to discuss the importance of ‘Life Education’ with a group of about 120 students.

‘A New Beginning’ seminar was organised in Starnberg, Germany between the 1st-3rd October. Facilitated by OWA Senior Faculty Ananda Giri and assisted by Faculty member Krishnaraj, the event drew participants from Switzerland, Germany and Austria. It was wonderful to see some of the participants who had earlier attended the seminar at the same venue in May this year participating once again, but this time with a few friends or family members.

21st September 2011 witnessed OWA’s first ever spiritual event in Hungary. Organized in a very centrally located venue in the heart of Budapest, over 70 participants turned up for the ‘Into Happiness’ spiritual seminar with Krishnaraj, Faculty Member of One World Academy.

One World Academy’s ‘A New Beginning’ seminar in Turkey was organized by Isik Yazan and Suheyla Gali and their team at Subatan Yaylasi, Bozdaglar, Odemis, Izmir, Turkey from 22 – 24 July ’11 and 29 – 31 July ’11. With the beautiful back drop of the Bozdaglar mountains, spring season at its peak, providing the ideal ambience for an inner journey into discovering love and connectedness.

The program was done in 4 sessions, each focussing on specific issues that students at this stage of their life face. The sessions delivered key insights through stories, questioners and processes.
Results:
- Children realized the absolute necessity of being happy in their life. They understood that only happy people can be successful people. Happiness is when one does not indulge in emotions that are negative and destructive. Extraordinary destinies can be created only by a great mindset which is not addicted to anger, fear, comparison or sadness.

One World Academy co-founder and mentor, Preetha, visited Munich, Germany from 13th to 16th October 2011. Although a very brief visit, owing to her commitments in India, Preetha’s loving presence and presentations have left an indelible impression on everyone that had the opportunity to meet and interact with her.

I have met with several of the participants after A New Beginning in Stavanger and they say they are free now, says Susanne Heart, one of the organizers of the seminar in Norway last weekend. People say they see through their own stories and how the stories used to keep the freedom away. Others tell they just wake up happy in the morning and starts singing for no reason at all. This is wonderful news for us. This means the seminar is really working, says Susanne.
